CONSTITUTIONAL LAW
Constitutional law regulates the fundamental principles of the form and functioning of the state, the fundamental human rights and duties, and the structure of the state. The Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia is the starting and fundamental legal act, while the constitutional law is the fundamental legal branch which is passed and changed according to a process that is particularly sensitive for every country.
In accordance with the Constitutional Court Act, we advise and prepare appropriate initiatives to assess the legality and constitutionality of regulations and constitutional complaints. The constitutional law covers the following areas of expertise: constitutional law, procedures before the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Slovenia, human rights law and proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights.
